1.Coming Together at Retail Days

Retail Days, held on May 29–30 at Haliç Congress Center, brought together key players from across the industry and became an important meeting point for us as well.
With the participation of Caribou Coffee MENA & Turkey CEO and the Turkey General Manager, we had an in-depth conversation with members of the press about the brand’s positioning in Turkey and its future vision. One of the key highlights of this gathering was that Caribou Coffee is not only a growing coffee chain, but a brand centered around experience, sustainability, and community. At the core of our growth strategy in Turkey lies a simple idea: understanding the market we are in and recreating the experience in the most meaningful way.
For us, these gatherings are not only about sharing our story, but also about thinking together with the industry and creating shared value.
2. Growing Together

At Caribou Coffee Turkey, we do not define growth solely by the number of stores. True growth, for us, happens in the spaces where we create value together.
Our people-focused approach is at the center of everything we do. Through barista training programs developed in collaboration with İSMEK and İŞKUR, we support young individuals and those looking to take a new direction in their careers. These programs not only provide professional skills, but also offer participants a stronger start in working life. At the same time, we aim to build a more inclusive and balanced structure through initiatives that support the employment of women over the age of 45. Because we believe sustainable growth is only possible when we grow together.
3. A Coffee Approach Inspired by Local Culture

While Caribou Coffee is part of a global brand, we approach each market through its own unique dynamics. Our journey in Turkey is shaped by this mindset.
Today, Caribou Coffee is more than a coffee brand. It is a structure that understands the habits of its local culture and reinterprets itself accordingly. From menu to in-store experience, this localization process allows us to develop products that suit Turkish taste preferences while maintaining our global quality standards.
As a result, every cup brings together a familiar quality with a local touch.
Alongside classic coffee varieties, our menu also includes unique beverages tailored to local tastes. Whether it’s new flavor combinations or products that respond to evolving consumer needs, this is all part of our localization strategy.
Yet one thing never changes: the focus is always on coffee itself.
4. Sustainability Is Not a Choice, It’s an Approach
At Caribou Coffee, sustainability is not just a topic. It is an integral part of how we operate. From our daily operations to our long-term strategies, this mindset guides everything we do. Working with 100% Rainforest Alliance certified coffee beans is not just a standard for us, but a reflection of our respect for nature, producers, and the future. This approach supports not only the quality of our coffee, but also a more balanced and responsible production process. And this commitment goes beyond sourcing. It is reflected in our store experience, our collaborations, and the way we communicate. Because for us, sustainability is not something we talk about. It is something we practice every day.
5. More Than Coffee

At Caribou Coffee, we don’t see coffee as just a product. We believe that behind every cup, there is an experience, a ritual, and a connection. Whether it’s a quick break or a long conversation, coffee is always more than just a drink.
Our “from bean to cup” philosophy reflects not only quality, but also the care we put into every step of the journey. From sourcing and roasting to preparation and presentation, every detail is handled with the same level of attention. In every store, we aim to create the same feeling: familiar yet never ordinary, warm yet thoughtfully crafted. Because for us, coffee is not just something you drink. It is something that makes the moment more meaningful.
6. A Story of Legacy: Amy’s Blend & the Power of Women
One of Caribou Coffee’s most special blends, Amy’s Blend, represents more than just coffee. It represents a story, a legacy, and a purpose. Named after Amy Erickson, one of the brand’s first roast masters, this blend carries forward her passion for coffee, her energy, and her human-centered approach. Today, her story continues to inspire the empowerment of women in coffee production around the world.
Although Amy’s Blend is not currently available in Turkey, the values it represents reflect the global vision of the brand. It stands for a coffee ecosystem where women producers are more visible, labor is shared more fairly, and equal opportunities are supported. The beans used in this blend are largely sourced from farms where women play an active role. The citrus notes, balanced body, and smooth finish in every cup are not just a flavor profile, but a reflection of that care and effort.
At Caribou Coffee, we believe coffee is not just a beverage, but a space for impact. With Amy’s Blend, we aim to make that impact more inclusive, more equitable, and more sustainable.
7. A Sustainable Future, A More Inclusive Coffee Experience
At Caribou Coffee, our passion for coffee goes hand in hand with our responsibility toward the planet and society. As part of this approach, we aim to create a more inclusive and sustainable coffee experience by offering plant-based milk options without additional charges.
Although this is not yet available in Turkey, we believe that making plant-based alternatives more accessible will contribute to a more conscious and equitable consumption culture in the future. This decision is not just about pricing. It is about creating a space where everyone can make their own choices freely.
Considering the environmental impact of dairy production, plant-based alternatives such as oat, almond, and soy milk stand out with lower water usage and carbon footprint. By making these options more accessible, we help our guests make more sustainable choices with every cup. At the same time, this reflects our respect for different dietary needs and lifestyles. We believe that guests who choose vegan options or alternative milk due to lactose intolerance should not face additional costs for their preferences.
At Caribou Coffee, personalization is not a privilege. It is a natural part of the experience. Because for us, great coffee is not only about taste, but also about accessibility, diversity, and responsibility. With this mindset, every cup represents not just coffee, but a small yet meaningful step toward a more balanced and inclusive future.
